Hello! I’m your Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain photographer with a love for capturing your family in the stunning surroundings of the national park.

Born and raised in this beautiful area, I spent my childhood exploring rivers and mountains, which sparked my love for photography and the outdoors. I’m a artsy-creative who thrives on real moments and loves crafting visual stories that stand out.

My sessions are all about fun and relaxation, bringing out genuine smiles through laughter and playful interactions. I personally hand-edit each image to make sure your photos are as unique as you are. I specialize in capturing those in-between moments that show your family’s true personality, beyond the typical posed shots. Think vibrant, colorful portraits that showcase real connections—moments of giggles, hugs, and everything in between.

My kind of people know photography can be more than just pictures—it’s can be wall worthy prints of your families. They’re excited to style their family for the perfect vibe, embrace a little whimsy, and trust in the silly poses. If you're all about having fun and going with the flow, we’ll be a perfect match! Just you, your loved ones, and the breathtaking Smoky Mountains—no stiff poses, just real fun!

I prioritize making everyone feel included and celebrated in my work.

I'm a photographer certified to work with individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and sensory accommodating to ensure a welcoming environment for all.

Whether it’s finding accessible spots, bringing along a beloved stuffed animal, or making adjustments along the way, I’m here to ensure your session is comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Once you’ve booked your session, I’ll send over a personalized style guide filled with tips and advice on planning outfits that complement the stunning, handpicked locations we’ll be shooting at. I know choosing outfits can feel overwhelming, but don’t worry—I’m here to help!

The guide makes it easy and fun, showing you how to select colors and styles that will pop against the unique backdrops I’ve carefully chosen. Together, we’ll make sure your outfits not only look amazing but also bring out the magic in every shot, all while staying true to your style!

I’ve built my style around capturing natural, authentic moments. I photograph you and your family in a mix of candid and lightly prompted ways, which may lead to a few flyaway hairs or closed eyes while laughing—that’s part of the fun! My kind of people are those who can relax, joke around, and follow my silly prompts to get those genuine moments you see in my work.

The edited images you receive will be beautiful, true to you, and reflect the joy we had taking them. I don’t retouch or alter bodies, as my focus is on capturing the real you.

After your session, I’ll edit your photos to and upload them into an online gallery. For Mini Sessions you can purchase additional images beyond the included 10, while Standard and Smoky Mountain Adventure Sessions come with all-inclusive access. You also get digital downloads and a print release for full printing flexibility.

FAQs

Do you shoot Extended families?

While I absolutely love photographing families, I prefer to keep things simple and focused, which is why I specialize in working with smaller families. When it’s just a few of you, I’m able to create a more relaxed experience that really brings out your unique connections.
It allows me to focus on the little moments—the laughs, the hugs, the playful interactions—that truly tell your family’s story.
Large, extended family sessions can be fun, but they often be something a bit more hectic, and I thrive in a more relaxed, low-key environment.
Plus, the fewer people there are, the more creative freedom we have to explore those candid, meaningful moments that make your session one-of-a-kind!

What do we wear?

After you book your session, I’ll send you a personalized style guide packed with tips and advice on how to plan your outfits to complement the beautiful backdrops we’ll be shooting against. I know choosing outfits can feel a little overwhelming, but don’t worry—I’m here to help! The guide is designed to make the process easy and fun, showing you how to pick colors and styles that will pop in the stunning natural settings while still feeling like you. Together, we’ll make sure your outfits not only look great but help bring out the magic in every shot!

Do you do Sneak Peeks?

I do not offer Sneak Peeks. I love that my clients are excited for their photos but I hand edit each image and I prefer to edit the session as a whole so I can focus on providing you with the best images instead of doing a "quick" edit just for a sneak peek. My galleries are delivered within four weeks of your session during the busier periods but are typically less during normal times.

Whats your weather policy?

What happens if it looks like rain?

Great question! Rain can definitely be a buzzkill for a photoshoot, but don't worry—I’ve got you covered. If there’s a 20% or higher chance of rain during our session time, I’ll reach out the day before to see if you’d like to go ahead with the session (and take the risk) or reschedule to my next available date.

Here’s the deal: weather in the mountains changes constantly—so we’ll make the final call around 6 PM the night before (if it’s a sunrise shoot) or about 4 hours ahead (if it’s sunset). Trust me, I know it’s hard not to check every 10 minutes, but 9 times out of 10, the forecast will flip-flop a million times before then!

Why do I do it this way? Your safety is my top priority! Since we shoot outdoors (sometimes in remote spots without cell service), I don’t want to risk anyone getting hurt on slick, unsafe terrain—especially near water. If the conditions aren’t ideal, I'd much rather reschedule than push through in bad weather.

Oh, and no worries—if we need to cancel due to weather, you’ll get a 100% refund. Rain or shine, we’ll make sure your session is safe and fun!

How long will it take to get my photos?

You will receive your gallery within three weeks of your session. I do deliver all of my galleries as soon as they are complete. So if I complete your session in just a week, I will send it out!

It can take the complete three weeks during busier periods (summer/fall). Trust me; I know you can't wait to see your photos! I hand-edit each image carefully, so the time I spend editing time is worth the result!

what time of day can we book?

My bookings are open for golden-hour sunset sessions.

Golden Hour occurs twice a day during sunrise and sunset. Sunrise options have limited locations and availablilty.

How will i receive my images?

Your photos are uploaded to a private online gallery. From there you can download all your photos to any device. This gallery is live for 3 months, so make sure you download them on a USB drive or back them up to the cloud before then!

You will receive a print release for all your images, so you can get them printed anywhere.

Where are you located?

I'm located in Gatlinburg TN, and I'm permitted to shoot inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I have predesignated locations that I shoot at.

What are your rates?

All of my rates are located under the "Investment" tab.

How do I book with you?

Use the contact form on the tab titled "Contact" to get in touch with me.
I use this fancy little booking system that keeps everything together for me, we will communicate via email to get all the details right. You will have my personal number once we get closer to your session date!

There is a $150 retainer required to book your session, the rest is due the day of your session.
